Dock Bumpers – Commercial Grade Dock and Boat Protection System
Dock bumpers come in 10′ Length. We have designed our P-style rub rail with a sloped bottom half. As boats rock up and down they tend to glance off ours instead of tearing it off the dock. That is just the beginning. Our flexible PVC will not crack, rot or deteriorate when exposed to extreme temperatures. It is unaffected by oil, gas, or saltwater and has UV inhibitors to prevent yellowing and deterioration from sunlight. We even add a fungicide. Besides all that, you can’t beat the price.
Nail our rub rail to your dock using our 1-1/2″ Stainless Large Head Ring Shank Nail. Use two nails every 6″ top and bottom with two extra nails on the ends 2″ apart. One 10′ piece of rub rail requires 46 nails. Both our “P” Style and “Flat” style require the same attachment specifications.
Stainless 1-1/4″ Screws come in a package of 25 and are used as an alternative to our ring nails. We typically use this screw when ring nails can’t be used on certain installations such as when attaching our rub rail or pile caps to steel, aluminum, or some plastic decking materials.
If you are buying the ring nails from us: You will need 1 bag of 40 ring nails. 32 stainless steel ring shank nails per 10′ stick of rub rail. You may need to use 32 stainless steel screws depending on the application.
